my rooster story, hope to make you smile ...

ok, so about 7 years ago, I can't remember why, but my DH went and did groceries for me.  I had made him a grocery list and he tries his best so followed it to the T... so on the list I had put "Whole chicken" and he came home with a chicken the size of a cornish hen, we then had 4 people living here and as you've seen, my son is pretty big, eats alot, and played sports at the time so. I kinda picked on him and we laughed about the whole chicken for quite some time.  he stated that was the only size that said "Whole Chicken"... well, 2 weeks ago, after my wls, he did groceries again. and yes I had "Whole chicken" on the list again.  guess what? he came home with the same little chicken and stated " all they had was "Roosters"  well, boy did we laugh at that one, he said "I was in Oxford, they eat alot of weird things in Oxford.... OMG, he said all this infront of his friends too.  so now...when I ready your story Kathy I just cracked up.  HOpe this made you smile... have a good day.

lol Too funny. Chicken has always been my meat of choice to eat ( REVENGE) I was just going to visit my pet hen when that old meanie attacked me. So I used to have a real love for all animals even birds.
