From Monday blahhs to Tuesday WOW!

This emotional rollercoaster that we are on is not for the faint of heart!!!!!!  Today is soooo incredible compared to yesterday!!!!!  WOW! #1:    I FINALLY had a BM!!!!!  WOO HOO!!    (Sorry...TMI...but it feels like SUCH a relief!!) #2:   My stall finally ended (prolly because of the BM..haha)...only 1lb..but I'll take it! #3:   I am down 75# since consult (12/20/07)   23# since surgery (4 weeks yesterday!) #4:   I told DH I was getting my hair cut/colored/something for reaching 75# and he said "ok"!  Now that's a first!!!!!!  He's been trying to get me to put it off indefinitely!!!!!!! #5;  Found out yesterday that our tax stimulus rebate should be here this week!  WOOHOO!  Who wants to go shopping?????????? #6:   AND MOST IMPORTANTLY:  God gave me another beautiful day to enjoy...the birds are chirping, the sun is shining, my family is healthy, I have some of the greatest people on earth supporting me here on OH........can life get any better????????? Thank you all for your support!  You just don't know how much you all mean to me!  I couldn't do this without ALL of YOU!! Life is GOOD!!!! hugs...honks....Peace and much luv!!!!!  Ruth

That is great, I'm so happy your feeling better, you just got slamed with 3 depressing things all in one day. your always so possitive, i'm sure it was Hell for you.  I do have to say one negative thing.  I hate you!!! 75 lbs??? You really deserve that color and cut... have fun with that.  You going to do it before your big return to work?  WE just got our direct deposit rebate yesterday too, we weren't sure how much we were getting cause My pay is non taxable income.  but I still got one, so yipppy, i'm up for shopping.  want to do a day shopping, i'm up for it.  Portland, Augusta, you name it. hehe, I'm trying to hog up your time before you go back to work.  All my friends have jobs so I do alot of alone stuff.  I do need to get to know some of the girls at my work that do the same thing as me.  ONe girl who lives in Green, has been asking alot of wls questions, I think we could have fun together.  I'll have to work on it.  well, hope you have a great day, I'm on my way to my Dr's. be back in 20 mins.  happy for you girl, love ya,,,, Honks  & Hugs.....Cheryl

Cheryl remember why you choose Lap Band. I told you that we loose slower than RNY but you will loose. Keep your chin up you are doing great  Keep up the good work. Just wait till you have your first fill.

I know, I know, LInda, I'm just teasing Ruth... I'm ok, as long as I don't gain before my fill I'll be ok.  some days of course I'm in  a rush.  I just went to my physician for follow-up and lost 7 lbs. since my physical in March I'm so excited. 

Did I mention on this board something Corinne told me...we store hormones in our fat cells and as our fat is released our emotions are all over the place.  It is a little paragragh in the book, in the back, but I never really read it I guess, or figured oout what it meant, until after wls and I was all over the place with my emotions.  So yup, a rollercoaster it is and I am glad you are feeling better, today.
