I have had kind of an icky day too. Not with food but just emotional. I went through a spell like this once just want to cry at the drop of a hat for no reason at all. My sister is only 6 years older than me and is almost all the way through menopause and my mom was all the way through by age 47. I think I am in the beginning stages. I am 42 and it wouldn't be un heard of. Well Im gonna get up and walk that makes me feel better anyway.

Kathy, I know how that is and much woman have a harder time then others.  I started taking different vitamines that helped me with hot flashes and mood changes, but had to stop taking it cause it is an oil tablet too big for me to take.  Look on line for Meno pause mood vitamins, and read up on your specific problems it really helps, with you going thru RNY maybe your body is lacking something you had before and with you going thru meno it is coming out.  I started over night when I had my hystorectomy, wow... I'll look around for you too.  give it a day or two it will get better.  have a good weekend.  cheryl

Oh I'm so not looking forward to that time of my life.  I'm sorry you are both struggling, it's so hard to go through all of this.  Thankfully we have each other.

I know what you mean Cheryl....I have been divorced for 8 years now and night is the hardest part of the day for me. I am surprised the doors on the cuboards haven't fallen off. Hugs..
