The rain will bring flowers and greener grass
That's what I keep telling my daughter. Good Morning all!! I had quite a busy day yesterday. I met with the Nut. for last minute recap of the after surg. diet. Met with surgeon to sign consent, and had yet another blood draw for Type and screening. Today is the bowl prep and clear liquid and tomorrow my new life begins.... I am ready!!!! i want to be healthy and live each day to the fullest. I would like you all to know that I have valued your words of encouragement and I hold them in my heart. Who would have thought that I could draw so much strength from a group of women I've never met...(in person anyway). Please keep me in prayer tomorrow. I know that this is God's will for my life and that he will be guiding the surgeon and holding me in His arms. I've asked my friend Felicia to update you all under my user name. Also I've given Ruth's # to my husband so he will call and tell her how it all went. I'm off to finish cleaning my house. I know I should probably take it easy and relax, but us French canadian women don't do that well. I just want to come home on Monday and know that I don't have to DO anything. My Mom and Dad are going to be staying for a couple weeks to help out with Maci. Also, if you could say a prayer for my dh. He needs it too. Love you guys thanks again. Oh, there happens to be a pond down the hill from my house and the geese are going crazy down there!! Makes me smile every time I hear them

Keela...You know our thoughts, prayers and honks are with you! Sounds like you had a busy day yesterday too! You are in the home stretch! It's so good you will have family around to help you out for a while! Good luck with the bowel prep...I think that's the worst part!
I agree with you that it IS amazing how much strength can be found with people we have never met face to face! But, we are all in this together...same struggles, same fears, same (type of) journey! You are going to do great with all this! Don't do too much today! (I'm an old Canuk myself and it's hard, but enjoy your daughter, your DH, your family!!!! The house will still be there....dirty, clean, whatever!!!!) Best wishes for a successful surgery (and bowel prep..hehehe)!!! Speedy healing! Ruth
ps: the grass is wicked green here...had to mow it already...my daffodils and tulips are up! Gotta love spring!!!!!
