I get my date today!
Great news Bridget! I, like Cheryl, will be two weeks out of lapband on Monday. We were roomies! I have found though that Cheryl and I have been quite different. Cheryl feels hungry, I am not really feeling hungry. Cheryl seems to have healed faster. We even commented about how we were at different levels of healing. I have just been doing my protein drinks 3 times a day and sometimes some strained cream soup, or yogurt. I found some protein drinks online from profect. You see their advertisement on the left side of this message board. I take one of those 3 times a day but dilute it with some water to make it not so thick and fruity. Just doing this I get in 75 grams of protein in 300 calories. I will know tomorrow how much I have lost so far, I go for my post op appointment at 8 am. It will be great to have another fellow bander! I haven't seen too many of us on these postings.

hey, Jill, I think we're pretty much at the same level now, except for the hunger part, boy let me tell you, i've been having 800 cal. a day and i'm still hungry. with your 300 you will have dropped a good bunch. I"m so happy, I can't wait to hear how it went for you. I will be gone so won't hear till I get home, or Sat. morning. Be prepared it took me about an hour and 10 mins. at dr's today. I always have to wait there. hmmmmm?? 20 mins. before anyone came in the room. I really am pumped up to get this thing working, next week i'm really upping my walking. I"ve got a goal for July 4th.
