All went well, staples no problem, saw the gang, so far so good. lost 4 lbs. since surgery plus the 6 water lbs... you know, Dr. Loggins is awesome, he made sure to ask me about my trip tomorrow, cause he remembered me saying something in the hospital about it, and made sure to move up my appt.  I was impressed.  won't get a fill till my 2 month check up (July 10) so it will be tough till then, will just have to do the reg. pre op diet I was on, only with less calories (which I dont' agree with)... but just my opinion. I dont know how with normal stomach, no restriction I can do 400-600 calories.  I'll try my best.  I was having a tough time pre op with 1200 cal.  oh, well....

Keep your chin up Cheryl!  Those 2 months will fly by!  Glad all went well for you!  Doesn't it feel better without the staples?

Cheryl, maybe once we start eating more dense food, we will get full faster.  Just doing liquids and anything thinner than a milkshake right now, may just be flowing through.  But when more solid stuff goes in, I cannot imagine that it won't be filling.  I can't believe we have to wait for 2 months before a fill either, but lets take one step at a time.  We never know!

yea, i'm hoping that too, I  feel like i do have a small restriction, even after the soup I feel full fast, but, I seem to be able to eat more and more as the two weeks go on.  it will be fine, I just dont think we should be on the same calorie intake as the others since they have a small pouches, of course once we get a few fills that will be ok. but till then, I guess I'm just jumping to conclusions.  I'll just have to wait and see.

it's true. more dense foods last longer. hang in there til you get on regular food. it will take longer to get in your stomach and digest. if you find yourself starving give dr. L. a call and see if he will do a fill earlier. he is the greatest!
