it is amazing how our taste buds change. don't be surprised if they change back and you don't like it later. enjoy it while you can. hopefully it will be a staple for you as it's so good for you.

i hate spicey foods and that's all i craved after surgery.

my father was a milk man, and used to have cottage cheese when ever he wanted it, but he also didn't like it, so he tried for years, to take a bite every day, after 30 years, still didn't like it, he would take it home, we tried every way imaginable, pinapple, fruit coctail, mandrin oranges, you name it.  it just don't cover those curds... ewwww

Ok Ruth, I understand the tomato craving, but that just sounds gross.  But who knows, some people do use cottage cheese in lasagne  Any way, Cheryl, I haven't like yogurt a whole bunch either, but did seem to enjoy it a couple of days this week.  Small curd cottage cheese with the fruit, like pinapple or pears, to me is always yummy

I read a post on another board where a woman rinses off the cottage cheese then eats it.  She said it is the only way she can eat it.  I can't stand cottage cheese but thought I would give it a try that way
