my appt. moved up

yaaahooo, I had my Friday's appt. moved up to Tomorrow at 10:30, Kim just called, so I get my stitches out a day early, so they wont' be too sensitive for our Trip.  plus, I have so much to do on Friday it will give me more time to get everything organized.  maybe I should be doing some cleaning right now instead of just sitting here.  opppsss !!

You lucky you!!!!!!  You'll feel so much better once those staples are out!  I know I did!  EEhhh...don't worry about the cleaning...it'll just get dirty again anyways! (at least that's how it is around my house!)haha  Have fun today...I'm heading off to Wally world now and G&B too!   WOOHOO!  Amazing how little things get me so excited!  hehehe     Have a great day! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Wally World,  although I hate it after 9:00am or weekends.  My sister in Law, a little snooty, claims the only people who go to Walmart are unemployed and dangerous, she said that and we almost attacted her physically.  she said she wouldn't even park her car in their parking lot and get out,c ause she was affraid to be attacked.  OMG, the Nerve of that woman.. I'm telling you I've gotton some of my best sweat pants from there.  although I wouldn't buy my chicken legs from there...   have fun !!

so is it staples or stitches we have post op?  And how many of them?  I had my gall bladder out through the laproscope and only had tape/bandaids. 

staples. i had six holes total. i think the most staples in one spot was 6. the others had 3 or 4. when the drain comes out that just leaves a hole to heal. feels weird when they take that out but wasn't painful. that comes out before you come home. the staples coming out feel like a plucked hair. not painful either.

I also have staples, in 4 spots,  total of 17, i had no drain...

I had staples lots of the little buggers lol I can still see where each one was too.

Cheryl, that is great!  My appointment is still at 8 am on Friday to get my staples out.  I have 20 staples total in 5 sites.  I cannot wait to get them out.  I have returned to work a little this week.  I worked Monday morning for 1/2 day took yesterday and tomorrow off put worked today a 1/2 day and will work Friday a 1/2 day.  I was still able to keep up with fluid intake so it is not bad.  Have a great appointment and let me know how it goes!

Jill, back to work? look at you go, that is great, you sound like your doing good. are you ready for real food yet?   4 more days, yahoooo!!  I have 5 sites too, I forget aobut the little one between my boobs.  My port site hurts me some, when I bend down, have a hard time picking up things i drop, the dog loves it. hehe  but I feel great, went for blood yesterday, glad I went early now I got my appt. moved up. I can't remember what you said you did for work?  hope it isn't too hard.  how you doing on the walking?? I didn't go yesterday, walked with alot of errands today.  back to cleaning house and cooking, laundry. Boy don't take long for the family to drop everything they did to help during the rough days.  I tried to drag it out for as long as I could.  well, nice hearing from you, enjoy your weekend.  Cheryl

Yeah, just 3 half days this week and I guess full force next, I will have to see.  I am a school secretary at Oxford Elementary.  I just couldn't sit home anymore.  I sort of over do it a little at work though.  My port site hurts as well, I can feel the bump, I wonder if we always will.  I have been walking about 15 telephone poll lengths a couple of times a day.  It is up hill on the way, but not steep.  My kids have been great with helping around the house this week and so has Jay.  By the way, He thought that he saw your husband last Sunday morning at Hannaford.  Then I remember you said that he was grocery shopping, is that where you go?
