I went shopping, what did you guys do today?

Had the grands over night last night, so up this am and did french toast and eggs forthem, and egg for me that just kind of sat in my stomach for awhile. They went home at 10, then long 2 mile walk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with my dog, ah prob a little too far but it was so nice, so down to read in the sun rest of the afternoon.  Went to friends for drinks at 4-crystal light for me, Crown and ginger for DH, then ..... OUT TO DINNER!! first time, ordered pot roast and mashed, ate about a tbsp of pot roast YUM, and maybe that much mashed, was full and had them box up the rest for # 2 son's dinner. Ate along side DH  slowly slowly, and no one but the waitress noticed i was not eating much. She was a little concerned but I just said, dont take it personally, I just had surgery and my appetite is still off. Went super, and I am so happy.  So far so good at home.   Funny, I have much better luck with beef than chix or tuna...they just sit there, no prob with the beef. Anyeay, home now, and off to bed.. What a day!

Kate, You had a busy day too. Your dinner sounds yummy. I do better with beef too. If I have tuna or chicken I have to make sure it's very moist or it gets stuck still and I'm almost 2 years out. I'm sure it will always be that way for me, but it may get better for you. I still get questioned by the waiters/waitresses. I just say dinner was wonderful thank you can I please have a box. I figure if it wasn't good I wouldn't be bringing it home to eat again. lol  The only thing I don't bring home is fish. When you reheat it, it turns to rubber and hurts the pouch. ~dori~

Hi Dori ~  Sounds like a successful shopping trip 60% off yeehaa! Took the kids to breakfast and the playground this morning ~ we had a blast.  Love this weather!!!  I did lots of laundry and groceries too.  Now I'm relaxing on the computer while DH is watching the hockey/baseball games. Tomorrow I'm planning on riding and taking a walk to the Market Basket for the Sunday paper.  I'm not sure about the walk cause it's a mile one way and I haven't walked that far forever.  But it's supposed to be nice so I want to get the fresh air and some time to myself. Stephaine, Sounds like you had a great day too. Do you go on the stuff at the playground too? I love the swings. I take my son to his school playground and couldn't fit in to the seat of the swing, now when we go that's what I do, I swing while he plays. It's so much fun. Sounds like you have a busy day planned for today too. Do you ride on the main roads or on trails in the woods? We have some nice trails over here in Oxford. We use them for the snowmobiles in the winter.  Enjoy your day, ~dori~

Oh today was so nice out side..  i am so happy for this wether to come.. today i went to the new tj max in waterville to look around  ,Jcpennys because DH needed new shoes   and food shopping for family lol.. then i been house hunting today and god nothing i like or don't have that good of credit so i am not sure what way i want to go.  well Dori the dress sound very cute and i can't wait to see them pics .. well take care everyone and have a good Night

Amber, I love this weather too, we had such a long hard winter we deserve many, many days like yesterday and today. What did you get at TJ Maxx? I love their clothes. I like Pennys too.  How is the house hunting going? With lots of houses out there right now, hopefully you'll get a good deal. ~dori~

Dori     I think we are all happy winter over yahoo.. I want to TJ maxxs and found a few gym bag for DH and i .. oh yes they do have nice cloths but i am trying not to buy anything untill after surg lol.. i am so sick oh looking at home's that now i am looking at buliding one so i am still not sure .. well got to go  take care  Amber
