I went shopping, what did you guys do today?

My Daughters Senior Prom is May 10th so this morning I took my daughter Megan to look for her dress. We ended up in Auburn at Caldwells on Center Street. They're having a going out of business sale with 60% off everything. So if you're looking for Prom or Wedding things, you should check it out. My daughter bought a beautiful "Pink Sugar" strapless gown with a sash that goes around the waist and hooks. When she puts it on for Prom I'll take lots of pictures and post some so you all can see. She also got some white ballerina type slippers, for shoes, she plans on wearing them for graduation too because her graduation gown is white.  Now we're home relaxing (and I'm doing laundry****il my husband gets home from work at 5. I want to go out on the motorcycle again because it's so nice out. We've gone out the last 3 nights after I got home from work. I'm so happy spring is here and almost all of the snow is FINALLY gone. lol Yippeee!!!  My cabin fever is gone. lol Well that was my day, so what have you gals been up to today? ~dori~

I went to Bangor  today and   went shopping at  walmart and went and got some  dog food at  pet quarters.   I am packing for trip to Mexico   on tuesday.   All packed and  luggage ready to go to truck  so little dog will forget about it for a few days lol Have a great day all!!!!

Went to Renys got get my daughter new muck boots. They are going to spend a few days with my parents this week and my sister gives Talya riding lessons so the boots were a must. Raked more of the yard. After supper we are going out for a walk the kids and I.

Kathy, Sounds like you had a fun day too. I haven't been to Reny's in years. I was told they added on, is it better? How was the walk? It looks so nice out today I just may take a walk myself. ~dori~

as you all know I went with my sister, and mom came along too, to go make a pansy basket at Longfellows greenhouse, they have many floweres out, and the weather is georgeous.  My mom, who dont know about my wls, wanted to stop for lunch, I was like, oh, crap... noooooo, thank God my sister was all over it and saved me. phew.... it was a nice afternoon, laughed and didn't think of food till now.. I dropped off my little man this morning and am free all week. so that feels good.  I think i'm gonna go outside to read the paper.  and take a nap.... enjoy the weather, I just need to stop my brain from thinking of food...

Cheryl, Sounds like you had a great day too. Good luck today with the bowel prep. I hope it's not bad for you. I didn't have to do it so I have no idea what it's like. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. ~dori~

Sounds like everyone has been having lots of fun!  Dori, your daughter's dress sounds beautiful!   Shopping...Mexico...flowers....wow...Don't think I can top that!  DH drove us over to Thomaston to go watch my daughter play in 2 softball games!  They lost the first one 0-6 (my daughter didn't pitch). Won the second one 9-4 (my daughter got the win here!  WOOHOO!)  1.5 hour drive each way.  While we were there, between games, DH and I walked the track at the school!  I was able to do 1/2 mile each time (we went twice).  It felt good to be out in this beautiful, sunny day!  Think I burned my face in the sun (just a little).  I'm kinda tired now, so think I'll be chillin the rest of the evening.  Enjoy the rest of the day everyone!  Ruth

Ruth, Wow you are doing so well. You're not even a week out of surgery yet and you're doing things that took me months to do after my surgery. Just don't over do it.
