I know, I know..I'm only a few days out!  But, so far, the hardest thing has been forcing those fluids in!  I am not hungry or thirsty at all! (I know everyone said that before, but it's still hard to believe until it happens to you!)  It's really hard to just keep on sipping even when you don't feel like it!  I'm still sippin, sippin, sippin though!! (oh yeah, I used to be a "gulper" too!  I could down 8oz of water in no time at all!  So, that is a big change too!)

I think the biggest change for me is actually thinking about eating, I mean you spend your whole life eating without a second thought now I have to think before I eat. Big change for me.

i am still preop but I agree with you.  Not being able to drink with meals.  Also I have been a fast eater for a very long time.  So slowing down has been really hard.  But I hav been working on it!

Slowing down! We are in 20 minutes flat!!LOL It is amazing to me how much of my time was completey about FOOD. I find myself marveling at the amount of time I have to get other stuff down cuase I am not circling camp, checking cupboards, grabbing some cheese, or nuts, or and apple, or a drink, or well you get the idea. I can barely get my food in now, because I am not hungry do not want anything. Drinking in sips isn't bad, and I have always had something to drink going, to keep me from eating,,,ROFLi am working on figuring this out, what do I do iNSTEAD. That is the hardest for me so far.

It was magic when she realized who she had become...

I am worried about being hungry, I know with the bypass you dont ' feel hungry, but until I get a few fills and get a good restriction, many might even gain some weight due to hunger.  they call it Band Hell !!!!  I hope Dr. Loggins dont wait too long before my first few fills.  I wish I had someone to ask??? oh, well???  I'll figure it out at some point... I asked Dr. and he said 4 weeks min. between fills and 6 after surgery. so that sounds good.  as for something to do, we should just join a band....Band  Have a Great Day....
