OMG!! The Boredom!!!

Sorry ladies...but, I am REALLY bored!  I've been outside walking (twice for about 15 minutes each time)and  sat out in the sun!  Read all the posts I had missed on here, replied to many! I read the newspaper from beginning to end!  I even called my mommy to see what she was doing!!  They were out riding in the convertible and going shopping!  Told them to come pick me up, but it's kinda too far for this late in the day!  sigghhh!  So, I'm just waiting for the boys to get home from school so I can do homework with them!  At least arguing with them about homework will be something to do!  So far, so good on the liquids and protein! I am feeling full alot, so I kinda have to keep taking rests, but I think I'll get it all in by the end of the day!    Peg and Jackie, how are you two doing?  Keep me posted!    Ruth

I hear you there!  I remember when I was out of work, I went a little overboard with the online shopping!  I guess I had a transfer addiction, as they say.

Welcome to my world, lol, this winter has been hell, with all the construction and house a total mess and not being able to clean it.  Hopefully, I will get all this crap repaired then I'll have more work to do then I know how to handle, with yard work and spring cleaning, which I havn't done in 2 years (because of this construction)...how much cleaning can you do? other then laundry, bathroom, dishes and everyday crap.  I can't wait to clean, wash my windows, mow and fertilize the lawn. yeee haaa!!  I might feel bored sometimes but I hope I never have to go back to work.  Nothing crafts, faux antiqueing, cooking, and fix...  have a great day Ruth...

Hi   Ruth   I totally understand  I got to go back to work   in  7 days.   i was some glad. I guess you need to get a good book or books to read  or  some real good movies to watch.  At least you can get out side as it was  wonderful out today. Yes  have your family come and get you and  let you walk in a store for a bit.   The first time i  did that i was wiped out and came home and took a nap lol. Have a great evening

I guess that is part of my problem...I'm just not a big TV person (except for some shows in the evening!)  I usually love to read, but just find the concentration isn't there yet!  Next week will be better with the kids home from school and probably being able to drive more (I don't dare yet, even though I'm only taking pain meds at night!)  Tomorrow will be better too..DH only works half the day and daughter has a softball game!  Double-header on Saturday! WOOHOO!  I'm sure I'll figure it out!  Just went for another walk and that was good!  It is a BEAUTIFUL day today!  Hope everyone gets to enjoy it!  Thanks for all your kind words and support everyone!  Ruth

I am so not bored, haven't been yet, isn't funny how different we alkl are, but are walking the same path in many ways, too. I love being home, love my house, my dogs. I couldn't read for about 1 1/2 week, couldn't concentrate but now am enjoying those mysteries again!! Yay. I always bought a course, 30 hours of CEUs to do when I was home, and haven't cracked a book. Oops, guess i know what I will be doing next week!  It was such a day today, a gift, and I finished up the camper and sat in the sun and read. Loved it loved it. Ruth I am so glad you are doing well.

I actually shoveled some snow and chopped ice today.  I miss it so much. haha.... trying to clean front yard and all the scrap wood was under some snow, so I tried to speed up the process of melting.  but don't you think aobut shoveling.  you should get yourself a good people magazine, short stories, easy read and LOT of great pictures....

Thanks Kate!  I think things will be better this weekend with the ball games and family home!  I can drag them along for longer walks! I'll prolly go visit mom and dad at some point too, just for a change of scenery!  I actually love our home and our neighborhood (except for all the hills when I am out walking!)  and cuddling with the cats off and on today has been nice!  I'm just not used to having to lay low!  I'm usually "on the run", bringing all the kids to and from practices, working, homework, etc, etc, etc!  I'll get used to being home and then it'll be time to go back to work!  haha...I'll never be happy!  jk!
