Lap Band on 04/21/08

It went well, Waited in dr's office or 45 mins, then finally saw Chrystal, Corinne, then Dr, I lost 5 lbs. all went good, But then headed over to hospital and waiting again, for 1/2 hour, I just got home, I was hungry, tired, and all I did was wait, but all went great I guess, NOw "What the Hell did they tell me??" I stopped in to see Ruth and she was sleeping, so I wrote her a note and left. I got my bacelet, and I'm ready to roll. do you know if those meds I have to get are Generic??? Thanks for asking, I'm beat.......

I got the levonex and the prevacid at the pharmacy and got the bowel prep stuff at the drug store. Here is a tip...get the unflavored bowel prep...then you an add to crystal light or whatever. Like an idiot I got the lemon flavor. And I had grapge juice to mix it with like with the directions. I almost died it was so nasty! You must be getting soooooo excited!

Oh good, 5# OMG good for you!!! See no worries...you have your pink bracelet thatey can't say no now. What meds do you have to take? Lovenox? the bowel prep stuff can be I know, mine were, the antibiotic can be, I think...

anyway get some rest....

The bowel prep is over the counter. Lovenox Is not avail in generic I don't believe Not sure about the Liq Vicatin I have most of mine as I only took one dose out of the little bottle and didn't touch the huge bottle. Didn't need it but that is me.The previcid there is no generic. Hope that helps.

Hi Cheryl! None of my meds were generic. I think there is no generic for Prevacid and Lovenox, yet. The bowel prep...YIKES! I got the unflavored too! I tried the first one with SF cran/grape juice. Tasted HORRIBLE! So, I guzzled! Second one! Even bigger YIKES! I just downed it and hoped it wouldn't come back up! They are aweful, but once they're in you, they work great! Stay warm! It's all sooo worth it! You know we'll be here for you that day..and all the days that follow! honks! Ruth
