I'm BAAACKKK!!!! NOw time to whip some butt.   what? a girl can't leave for a few days, and trust you guys to do it alone. geeeeeee    We'll be waiting for a voluneer....

So how was it? You had gorgeous weather! Did you have fun?

OK, since I did the first week, and there are alot of Newbies on the site, I'll come up with the "Friday 5" again.  HOpe you all don't mind... since I just got back from a mini gettaway, I will make the questions vacation related..... 1.  What is your funniest Vacation Memory?  In San Juan, my DH, (Big Guy) got stuck in back seat of a Taxi mini van, it took 3 of us hanking on his arms and my brother in law pushing his Butt behind him.  he actually pulled his groin and was limping all day.  but was very funny. 2.  How long was your longest vacation and where to?  3 months to Germany (I was in High School and went to visit my sister and brother in law. 3. Where was your most wonderful vacation memory and what was it?  I would have to say, our honeymoon.  My husband planned the first 3 days of our 2 week vacation, and got a suit, that was out of this world, right in Disney World, limo ride and all. 4.What what your most horrific or scary memory on vacation.  nothing terrible, maybe a plane delay which made us miss the rehearsal dinner for a familily memeber in Florida, the whole Maine group didn't make it, and once on the plain it was like 100 degree's cause the air was broke. 5.  Where would you like to go for your dream vacation?  I would like to go to the Austrailian Open Tennis.

1. Sister-in-law and I going to a salon to have my hair done in Williamsburg VA, and realizing AFTA going all the way in that it was an all black salon-and trying to excuse our way out of there-"oh my Goodness will you look at the time...we have to met the boys."..Now before I get hate mail, not that I would have minded, but my hair was a burned, too processed mess, and I just didn't know if anyone would know what to do with it... 2. 2 weeks in the Carribean every year...best time ever, best island so far, Eleuthera in the Bahamas 3. Swimming in the Carribean, with DH, as the sun sets, 80 degrees, light wind, wine and cheese waiting for us... 4. We had taken our 3 yo grandgirl to Disney for her first away time with us...The US attacked Iraq on the last day and we wwere all of a sudden surrounded every where we looked with Disney employees, in uniforms, but obvious SECURITY, fighter jets flying over the park every hour or so....very scary... 5.The Olympics in Bejing...

1.  What is your funniest Vacation Memory?  In my early 20's some friends and I drove to key West for a long weekend. 6 of us in one motel room...boys and girls both. After a couple nights of drinking and drugging ("no judgment please, it was 1972 and the drugs were much tamer then," she says defensively!), I got up in the middle of the night to pee and get a drink of water in the bathroom. The next morning we all were awakened by a shreek, "Who drank my contacts!." Oops!

2.  How long was your longest vacation and where to?  The fall before I came to seminary I left Boston and rented a house overlooking the ocean (facing a gorgeous sunset every night) on Spruce head Island. I spent the entire fall, winter, and early spring in front of floor to ceiling glass windows with a fire in the fireplace working on a 20 year scrapbook for a gift for my son. Oh, the memories it evoked! It was just lovely.

3. Where was your most wonderful vacation memory and what was it?  See above.

4.What what your most horrific or scary memory on vacation.  I took my mother on a cruise and as the plane was coming in for a landing, it rocked from side to side and bumped and shuddered and even the flight attendants were white-knuckling it. We all clapped and cheered when we landed.

5.  Where would you like to go for your dream vacation?  My dream vacation would be a Mediterranean cruise all over Europe with a dozen family and friends and at least 3 days layover in each country to see all the sights.

1.  What is your funniest Vacation Memory? This it tough I can count on one hand the number of actual vacations I have had. BINGO I thought of it. Even before hubby and I were even dating we went camping with mutual friends. Well they told him I won't squat and peeee in the woods so I brought a toilet seat with me.. I know kooky but when We got up there to join other friends he had built a throne for my toilet seat and lit the path with tiki torches Soooo funny. 2.  How long was your longest vacation and where to?  Hmmm 2 weeks at Disneyland with family 3. Where was your most wonderful vacation memory and what was it?  I would say my answer to the first question cause that is when I fell in love with hubby. 4.What what your most horrific or scary memory on vacation.  Most scary memory was the day before we were supposed to come home from Disneyland my brother pulled a stupid stunt. Tried to shop lift in a Disney store. I was behind him when he left the store and saw like 5 security guards take him away. My parents had no clue. Hours and hours later my parents convinced the security there to let him come home with us they were going to prosecute. 5.  Where would you like to go for your dream vacation?  I have always wanted to go to the Holy Land and walk where Jesus walked. To scared to travel to that part of the world though so probably it will never happen.

1.  What is your funniest Vacation Memory?   Probably when we were going up Pike's Peak in our van and something popped!  We thought it was a tire or something but couldn't figure it out!  On our way back down, we stopped to get lunch and figured out it was a bag of potato chips that had popped open!  The kids still think it was pretty funny! . 2.  How long was your longest vacation and where to?  We took 1 month off, drove from WA state to CO, KY, FL, back to KY, TN, MD, ME, back to MD and KY, then back to WA state (all with 5 kids under the age of 14!!!) 3. Where was your most wonderful vacation memory and what was it?  Probably that 1 month trip!  We had such fun at Disney and Sea World..and getting to see all of our families.  It was awesome!   4.What what your most horrific or scary memory on vacation.  hhmmm.....Only thing I can think of was driving through KY in an aweful rainstorm/lightning..couldn't see the road at all!  . 5.  Where would you like to go for your dream vacation? I've always dreamed of travelling through Europe, but Hawaii might be nice too!
