Update! re:Dr Trieu's cell phone number

Update: I called my local ER and while they were nice, they did not feel that they could help.  They suggested calling Maine General Hospital and asking them to get in touch with Dr Trieu.  I left my cell phone nuber with them and they had Dr Trieu call me, I was starting to get seriously dehydrated and waiting longer felt a little dangerous to me.  I got in the car and headed out to Augusta.  The doc called when we were half way there and said he's meet me in the ER.  He first took out .5 cc but it did not help so in the end he took out 1.5 cc from my band.  I can now swallow water and protein drink and I feel a million times better.  I am on liquids for at least 24 hours then slowly back to real food...I am in no hury...that was super scary!!! Previous post: I need to call Dr Trieu, today if possible.  I know he wouldn't want his cell phone number posted here...he gives it out, but of course I have lost it now.   If someone has it and would PM it to me or I can send my number and call me with it I wold really appreciate it. Thanks Kathy, I am miserable today.  It has been getting worse and worse for the past 2 days...but up unitl this morning I could still drink coffee (or anything warm) but today...no go, and of course my local hospital has no band doctors at all and would have no idea how to unfill this thing. :) Sheli

My life got really busy last month.  I have everyone back in order and I should be here again.  It didn't help that my work computer now lets me read but not post here.  Almost all my posting was from work.   I got my fill tuesday.  Did liquids all day wednesday then soft foods thursday and friday night I was stupid and ate a few bites of chicken breast...I knew better...it was stuck by the second bite.  Stuck so bad I was gagging and vomiting for the next 3 hours (off and on.)  Yesterday the swelling started but I could still get in liquids...today I am refluxing on water, coffee and tea...not good.  I just want to sit here and cry. I am seriously considering calling the local ER and asking if they can help at all...I just don't know what else to do.  I just tried another sip of water and want to puke...not good at all. I'll let you know what happens. :) sheli

They do not have a call service, that is why he gives everyone his cell phone number.  I had it programmed into my cell phone last year, but the phone got stolen (long, stupid story...)  So I lost his emergency number.  I will remember to get it again next week from the office.   Better now, I went to the ER and he met me there...well worth the hour drive each way...I feel a million times better. :) Sheli
