Summer gathering

Should we think about somewhere else so we can have it later in the summer when it is warmer? I am up for suggestions I know my family is having a reunion at beaver lodge this summer. I bet there are other places like that. Any suggestions? I personally think the 7th and 14th are tooo early my kids are even still in school then.

I agree Kathy, too cold, I dont' mind later, even August, but not sure where else to go, I havn't been around much... where is beaver lodge? 

August is fine with me  and so is  end of July.

I also would prefer it later.  June 7th is my oldest daughters graduation so I couldn't attend that day. I work Mon-Fri during the day so a weekend works better for me, if you did chose a weekday I could come after work. Let me know what you guys choose. ~dori~

August works for me too.  Range Pond State Park isn't available for the rest of the summer?  WOW they are a popular place.  How about Sebago Lake State Park ~ do they have a similar set up?  Reid State Park in Georgetown is nice too.  What about the Songo River Queen?  Might be a little pricey though but a lake cruise would be fun!  Just a thought.

I am game for whatever the river queen is nice been on it quite a bit living right here in Naples. I don't mind traveling either. So whatever works for everyone else is fine with me.

River Queen would be cool, not sure about how we could handle food, unless we decide not to have it, plus it would only last 2 hours, i'f I'm not mistaken??  I've been on a few times, nice and relaxing.  how can we find out how many people are interested with how many family members to count.  we would have to ask, over and over cause many guys don't come on here every day...

Maybe through the diff Dr Support groups we could get sign up sheets going. We could go from there. There are two different runs with the River Queen the one that goes to the Locks is a 2 hour cruise the one that stays on Long lake is a one hour cruise. Awwww....don't worry about the food part....a handful of grapes between us all ought to do it!

The August area work good for me .. not sure what u guys all want inside or outside ?    maybe some where have a  pool party if in doors   or go bowling or something ..  i am just trying to give suggestions   mark me down for 2 people to come to the party.. Amber
