Cruises questions
LIsa, I would rather wait till after July I have way too much going on right now, with court, addition, surgery, out of state company coming, I want to get all my yard and gardens cleanned up. Let me get my brain and life together first.BUT, we can certainly find out how many girls would come so it would be worth your trip. that would be a blast...
I want to go on a cruise as well!! I know in Cozumel, personally I would go on a land excursion of the myan ruins. I was going on a cruise the end of this year, but decided to cancel. I can't do 3 big trips in one year. Paris is my priority!! But maybe next year!! What cruise line are you going through?
While I absolutely love the Carribean, go every year, I hated cruising. i took my DH on our one and only cruise to eastern Carib in 2/ 2002(right after 9/11. IWe didn't like it...too much of everything, too noisy, they were just trying way too hard, lots of drunks, lots of waste, I got seasick. What we loved was horseback riding in Puerto Rico, and the island of St John. We hated having to get back on the ship when we found some place we loved, wanted to stay longer...soooooooooooo
we began to go back to the islands, rented a house or townhome, or apt, and stayed for first a week, and then 2, picking a new island every year. It is much more affordable than it sounds,. if you don't get seasick, I think a cruise is a great bargain if you stay on the ship and don't do the shore excursions, that's where you can run up a tab. The ship is pretty nice when eeryone leaves to go to shore. Of course, the bar is hugely seductive-we saw a guy on the plane on the way home with an 18 page bar tab, can't imagine how much that was. now, I think, kids can get a bracelet at the beginning and drink all the soda for a set price which would be helpful for your son. Carnival and Royal Carribean have teen stuff, teen only clubs and a ship is a pretty safe place for them to run . I am sure you will have a blast, it is just the seasickness wrecked it for me...
It was magic when she realized who she had become...

thanks cheryl. he's my one and only and we share a birthday so we have a very special bond. for his 16th birthday i rented a limo and told him to pick 7 friends. he picked 5 and said he wanted me and my best friend to come along too because we were so much fun. plus her son is best friends with my son and they both still think we are cool. i can't wait. it will be june 20th. our actual birthday is june 24th. i'll be 40 and he turns 16. it's a big deal for him so wanted to do something memorable. i'm psyched he wanted me to come along in the limo. i've never ridden in one before.
