Second day in a row I am home with a sick child!    Took him to the doctor yesterday and he tested negative for Influenza and Strep throat but he had me up half the night with vomiting!        He's sleeping now, so maybe he'll feel better when he wakes up!     Good thing my employer is flexible about my hours.....looks like I'll be working on Saturday for a few hours!     Now just gotta keep my hands and face outta the fridge for the day!!!!!   That'll be the tough part!!!!!!

OH, no, i'm sorry about that.  there is nothing worse then a sick child.  when you work on Saturdays is that cause they have rescheduled your apptointments to Sat?  where do you work? at the hospital or private practice.  I've decided to do liquids again today, it went well on Sat. and the scale went up a lb. not sure why, but got to get that back down.  Plus, we are going out to Gippers tomorrow so I know the salads are pretty large.  so, just keep talking to us Ruth so you dont get into that fridge. I know I'm making my favorite for supper too.  Spare Ribs, YUUUUMMM!! it will be tough.. we'll see... try to enjoy your day off.... Cheryl  honk honk (be good)

Thanks for the honks Cheryl!  I actually went and did some work out stuff (3 mile Walk fit and then a 20 minute ride on my stationary bike)  It's better than lookin in the fridge!      He seems to be doing better now.  He's at least keeping a little bit of gatorade down, which is better than earlier this morning!   I work in home health, so I called all my clients and rescheduled them to tomorrow and Saturday.  I hate working Saturday, but at least I can stay home today and nurse this sicko kid back to health...hopefully!!!!!   (I just hope I don't get it now!!!!!)
