Can anyone recommend a good PCP?

I am looking at recommendations for a new PCP who is obviously accepting patients anywhere from Augusta to Wiscasset to Damariscotta.  I have had the same PA my whole life, but her office is AWFUL and I cant ever get in to see her when I'm sick and all the other doctors there are weirdos and possibly were once hippies or something? Granola-ish. I am very shy and uncomfortable with doctors and I would prefer a female doctor.

I love Dr. Dan Freidland in Wiscasset. 882-7911. He has two nurses Mel Faux and Jennifer Wright. They are wonderful when you can't see him. Also, there's a new doctor there. Nice eye candy too. The whole office has been wonderful with me. If you call them feel free to say Lisa Pinkham sent you over.

Being shy, the girls do everything he does so if you need your annual exam (pap), they can do it.

how cool is that? i hope you find a pcp you're comfortable with. that office is wonderful and very supportive of my decision to have wls. i also love the women there. very friendly.

My PCP is awesome...but she's in Lewiston!  Sorry I can't help!!   

I really like my PCP.  He is the one that suggested the WLS to me and he is right near Maine General Hospital  Donald Strickland of Kennebec Internal Medicine Associates, PA   Phone number 623-8434.  I have never had a problem with his office staff.  There are other doctors in the practice and I have delt with them on occasion and never had a problem.
