why I"m here

I posted on the Lap Band, (that I was approved) for those who I talked to in the beginning.  I was there for like a month before finding the Maine board.  never felt like part of the gang, plus I left due to all the fighting and bickering.  I was expecting some friend, *****membered me to say "HEY" but none did, execpt for a few of newbies who I never talked to (which was nice of them).   But I guess my feelings were right, so glad i'm here with all my real friends.... Glad I'm here with you all !!!

Awwwwww......I too am glad to have found this board.  There is so much support and encouragment here.  And I can't wait to meet everyone this summer!

How will you meet everyone this summer....is there a party planned?????

There is goig to be a summer gathering!  I believe Kathi was spearheading the organization of it.  People were throwing around ideas as to where to have it (a park, someone's house etc) that is convenient for as many people as possible.  They will definitely do a post with regard to it once more planning is done.  No date or place has been officially set yet as far as I know.

I am glad you all are here too. This is what will keep me going when times get tough I am sure of it.

Cheryl, We're glad that you're here too.  Everyone here makes this place better.  The more people here the more support we get. I don't post as much as I'd like to, but I try to stay on top of what's happening. I look forward to reading the boards here on the Maine site.  I think it's the best board here at ObesityHelp. ~dori~

This board is amazing and the people here are incredible!  I'm so glad you guys told me about this at the last support group!  Don't know where I'd be without you all!!!!!  ((((((hugs))))))

i'm glad to be here too. i visit the main forum some times but i find it discouraging with the sarcastic comments and bickering. none of here seem to have that kind of upitty attitude. we're glad you're here too!
