I know I've said this before
Cheryl,
I TOTALLY agree with you! I also echo your sentiments. I've never been one for message boards but this one is truly special.
As I have said on my profile page, my husband, although supportive, is a bit envious of the weight I've lost. (He would like to get rid of 20-30 pounds but wouldn't even WANT to think surgery even if he could!) I love him just the way he is, and have tried to suggest ways to lose, but it's a tender subject with him BECAUSE of my weight-loss. It's noticeable especially when he's with me and someone compliments me on "the new me!"
Here, I FEEL the support and, although we are all different (in surgery type, amount lost etc.) we DO support each other and feel no real "competition". I'm looking forward to meeting many of you this summer. I just hope that my husband, who will probably drive me to the gathering, won't belabor the point for days afterwards.........if you know what I mean.
Anne

have you ever told him? how that makes you feel? Maybe he is just affraid he will loose you, now that you are all hot and sexy. MIght just be a confidence thing and it comes accross that way. My husband is wonderful, but he isn't the most vocal, I always have to ask him, if I look ok, or if he like the meal I cooked. I sometimes feel like kicking him. But that is just him... I'm sure Anne there is always car pooling, cause we would all attack him, hehe
