Well, I've made it through the first 6 months post-op! What a ride it's been! i've lost 70 something pounds in this 6 months! Not too shabby!! Here's a fun picture. The first is a picture of my son and I that was taken in August - about a month after my initial consult with Dr. Loggins.
Now here is me on Friday wearing the same pair of pants as the picture above! (which were not roomy in the least!!
HAHAHA! That amuses me SO much! What a difference in 6 months!!! :) I love my RNY!

Summer, Isn't it a wonderful feeling? I remember the time I put on my jean skirt (size 22) after not wearing it awhile and having it literally fall right off....even with the belt tied at the last belt hole! I was shocked to find that I had indeed lost inches as well as pounds. In my mind's eye I still felt fat but THAT was an eye opener! I, unfortunately, gave away that skirt, but even the clothes I've bought since (and I've out-grown) still surprise me that way.  You are 6 months out, I'll be 7 months out come the 30th and I'm STILL amazed at the changes. We each lose differently but we are on the same journey. It's a wonderful journey to be on, especially when it involves getting our health back. Take Care........Let's ALL enjoy this "new" life! Anne
