Weak!!!

I have no idea what the heck is going on with me!!  I am grazing and that is SO unlike me.  I've been to the cabinets, fridge and freezer probably 10 times in the last 20minutes and have taken a nibble of something every time!  I feel ill now because I didn't make good choices.  I can't seem to stop looking for something to satisfy me but I don't know what I want.  I've had:  a sweet freedom ice cream bar, some ricotta fluff, handfull of walnuts, 2 spoonfulls of REAL ice cream, I've picked up the reese's eggs about 10 times but I'm fighting that urge (& winning).  I'm way over my 900 calories now.  Why did I do this??  I was in the same situation last night but was able to keep myself in check tonight I just can't.  PMS??  I've worked so hard and don't want to jepordize it.  WHAAAA...I just needed to whine a little I guess.  Sorry all.  I'm going to bed to sleep it off...I hope anyway.

I believe the weight coming off is the easy part now the brain needs to be retrainned.  Like I heard a while back.  Alcholics when in recovery don't need alcohol to survive, but we all need to eat, so it is alot different cause we need to control that.  Can you imagine if the alcholic needed a little alchohol 3 times a day???  WE all have these days Stephanie, before and after wls.  Funny how it happens, some days are just crazy, I'm not even hungry, just out of control, gotta learn to knit.... how's the job going??? HONNNNKK

Thank you Cheryl...I needed the pep talk.    I'm having a hard time now that I lost my daily support with A, P & C! The job is going very good.  I start actually training next week!!!  I'm getting aquainted with the new policies and ways of teaching.  Everyone seems very pleasant and once I get my own office space I think I will feel more at home.  I miss everyone at SLC terribly though. Have a great day.

What you are doing I call "circling camp" it's what we foodies do because we don't know what is really wrong.  Stop...sit...feel...stop trying to mask or take care of whatever it is with food...feel it...fear?anger?anxious? Once you FEEL it deal with it...why am I angry, anxious, fearful?  and then be proactive...redirect away from the kitchen, vacumn, walk, go groom one of your buddies. I love the pic in the pony club manual of the neat groom and the filthy ratty horse, and then the pristine horse and the nasty ratty groom>> Do you know that one?..go hug a neck and breathe in their scent-better than ricotta fluff? what is that???? Hang in there, steph, you are having a moment not a life changing event.

It was magic when she realized who she had become...

Stephaine, I hope you're having a better day today. Were you bored last night? Is that why you grazed? When I'm having a day like that I try to get out of the house, even if it's just to walk the isles at Wal-mart. It gives me exercise and keeps my mind off food (as long as I'm on the housewares or clothing side of the store lol).  We ALL have a problem with food one way or another that is why we were all obese. I don't know why we graze. Just know there is nothing wrong with you. We all have to fight and try and win over the "grazing monster" sometimes. ~dori~
