Hi Pam...I agree with everyone else.  Don't let anyone downplay what you have already accomplished!!  Arthritis pain is horrible and any exercise hurts.  Maybe some water walking could work for you? The warmth of the water and less stress on the joints usually works well for people with arthritis.  Keep your chin up!!  You are doing awesome!  Don't let that PA get you down!!!!  Hope you have a better day today!!!!

Wooo! I  cant imagine the lack of compassion,  One thing I learned and re learned is you have to start somewhere, ANd every single minute counts of exercise!   YOu work up to 30 min.  and you work up to  more  days a week,  I too have arthritis,and can relate to your pain,  It will get better with more mobility, this is just a bump in the road.. YOu Didnt GAin any in 6 months through one lonnnnnnnnnnnnnn winterrrrrrrrrrrrrr   dont get discouraged at all.  Your doing awesome and dont let anyone tell you different. I am puzzled by the vitamin D ? EVeryone in Maine  is probally low on D- lack of sunlight!! LONG winter here... hehe        I'm sure your not done losing!  and  there is some gentle exercise that will increase your mobility and  lessen your pain..  They could of supplied information of those and  other ways to exercise that you can do.  Sounds like that PA  wasnt GELLINNNNNNNNNNNNNnggg..  hehe ..    HONk HONK HONK LOOk forward and Look UP! and  at all you have done already ,  and all you are going to do... Summers coming and  the warmer temp. will also help  with pain and more daylight helps for brighter spirits.           May all the Blessings of today be the ones you need the most.. Ok my weight loss sisters here is my plan. I am going to start exercising with a CD inside and want to start walking even if it is 500 feet at first !! I am lucky to have all you and keeping me thinking straight !! I will wait a while and see if I can get an appointment with a plastic surgeon. I want to get more water and protein in and hopefully it all will start me loosing some more. I must say that my negative feelings aren't bothering me as much today thanks to you all and my hubby. My dear Pam, I have a word for him... but I am a lady and don't want to get in trouble here!!   Everyone is right, don't let that pipsqueak downplay how far you have come!!  You have come a long way, baby!  Yes, exercise will certainly jumpstart your weight loss again.  Do you see a doc for your arthritis?  Mine gave me exercises at one time that I could do from a chair or if you can find a local indoor pooI you can go to.  Water is the best for your joints. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, so I know how that pain you are feeling is....BELIEVE me!!   I started at curves real slow....and once I built up the muscle around my joints it got better and better just from exercising.  I hardly have any pain now.
