don't you all leave me now??
I was just reading on the band forum and it was a post about how this woman is and understands, that she is loosing way slower then her counterparts who had RNY. and how she is handling it, and sometimes sad, and feels guilty cause she hasn't been perfect exercising and eating. and I starting to think, that I will be loosing much slower then you gals, and that is fine, I want to loose slower and that is why I chose the band, but !!! I will miss you all, you will all be at goal and won't need this site anymore and I will be alone, so ! you all must promise to come and visit now & then, I will miss all my new friends...

Cheryl,. honey, you've got a friend, do you understand that??? This is a lifetime journey, losing the weight is just the beginning, how bout all the rest of it, being in the company of kick a== women who all have good health, laughter, kids, grandkids, and Maine in common. I will be around...to hold you up, and be held by you!!

It was magic when she realized who she had become...

You need not worry that you, or anyone else will be deserted once we get to our goal weight. There are still frustrations etc. that we will all encounter and the support given by ALL on this site is essential to the continuation of the successes that have (and continue to be) achieved.
Friendships, once forged, are not easily broken either as we can recall those who have supported us along the way. We ALL lose at different rates and experience different yet similar frustrations. Rest assured we will always be around.......maybe not as often, but we will still be here none-the-less.
Anne

Thank you Anne, I always look forward to your posts, you have come a long way and I can't wait to follow in your footsteps. I've been wanting to ask you, and I won't post this so anyone but you will know what I"m talking about. But your picture in front of those doors, look familiar, is it in the location of fire a few weeks ago???? I go there very often, to bring my little man to work....
Cheryl...I can't speak for anyone else but "I ain't goin nowhere!" I love this place...the people, the support, the information, everything! I can't imagine not coming here to see how everyone is doing!
I'm almost addicted to this site...If I don't check in, I feel like some part of me is missing! Odd, but true. I think I'll need this site even more after surgery. I know there will be questions and issues even after surgery. And, hey, who doesn't need a shoulder every once in a while (surgery or not??) We have a saying in our family..."families are forever", we also apply that to friends!!!
Honks to all!! Ruth
