Watch a Roux-en-y or a lap band surgery live!
Good morning,
I think I saw something like this posted here before, so forgive me if you have all already seen this, but I was surfing YouTube last night and came across this video from Tufts New England Medical center in Boston. It is about an hour long and shows a Roux-en-y surgery from beginning to end. Not for the queasy, but really interesting to actually see everything we have been reading about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_laATah3mzE&feature=PlayList&p=D59FB9EB8535ED61&index=6 And here is a video from Tampa general on a lap band surgery. (I didn'****ch it but am posting it here for you lapbanders on the list!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8tBeJgRd_U

Thanks for checking in Ruth. The rash is gone as of today, but I haven't been wearing the mask because of it. I am trying it again tonight since it is pretty well healed and hope that all the soaking of the liner will have leached all the nasty chemicals out of it. If the rash returns I will have to try something else, perhaps the nasal pillows with a chin strap to keep my big 'ole mouth shut...no small task!
