what's your opinion

This is just a fun question, i'm just curious to see how some people will react (cause some of my family can be snooty)  as many of you have heard we found out this weekend, my dgt is getting married, next August 2009.  the Groom has a little 6 year old girl, Eve, she is sweet, cut (little no alot hyper) but anyway, she is a tom boy and wants to wear a tuxedo, NOT a dress, I personally thingk she will be cute, and they are ok with it too.  What would you think if you saw that.  The wedding will be very casual in our yard.  Tell me the truth, it is just a fun question.

I would think she was adorable and I would think the parents wonderful for letting her be who she is and not who they might prefer her to be. Besides..it will be a fun memory and topic of discussion for years to come! Good for you all!

maybe you can design a dress that looks like a tux. that would be very cute. it could have a little bow tie and vest and cumberbun with a frilly skirt and cute little black shoes. maybe she'll change her mind in the next few months if not let her be who she wants to be. as long as your dgt and her husband approve who cares.

haha, sounds like a good idea, but absolutely no dress for this one, even if it was camoflaged...

sounds like me when i was little. i am the youngest of 8 and grew up in the sand box. 4 older brothers!

8 ?  Holy Mollie........ she is such a fire cracker, I think she will be a doll in the tux, she will have her hair done tho, she is ok with that. 

I think the tux is a cute idea!!  If your daughter and future son in law are cool with it.... then go for it! 

Yeah why the traditional gown that you buy and never use again lol. I HATE DRESSES myself always uncomfortable. A nice colored tux would be so cool . I love the idea and wish I had thought of it when I got married.. Heck I would have worn sweats if I thought I could have got away with it.

Wonder if she would wear skorts looks like a skirt but feels like shorts??
