I actually DON'T supplement and haven't since like 2 weeks out. I couldn't find a protein drink that didn't make me horribly sick to my stomach, so I used milk as a protein drink. That's all I've used. The ultimate goal is to move towards not supplementing and eating normally, but there's no rush in getting there! Just do what you can!
I don't actually track my protein or calories or anything. We'll see what my blood work turns up for my 6 month appt. on the 27th!!!
that's more or less my problem. shakes make me nauseous. i've also been getting restless legs at night and looked that up and that is caused by low potassium, low calcium, standing on concrete and sitting too long. i wonder if i need more milk. i hardly ever have it. i'm going to try that. and bonus it counts as fluid.

I did and do skim milk too. I get SF instank breakfast and skim milk heat it up and its very satisfying like hot cocoa. its a meal replacement though... 13 grams of protein with milk 150 calories
If you want to just get more milk in and an excellent snack make sf hot cocoa with skim milk, Its really satisfying.. too.
and for gals hungry at night, sip that its a nice sweet treat with protein. filling ..
I also find weight control oatmeal -cinnamon or maple flavored protein fortified, has 7 grams then with a cup of milk 8 more grams thats 15 grams of protein and its very filling, I am just able now to eat one packet my pouch likes it and its a nice hotmeal that keeps ya full. taste much better then a shake. protein goal now is 65 and I've just started hitting it after 3months in the begining, it was very hard, I also find I will feel like I want to eat, if I havent had enough water in the day.. NOt hungry just a flutter feeling, I call it the head hungry flutter. hehe.
I checked out that special K water it has 5 grams of protein and no sugar! a bit expensive but compared to all we dont have anymore.. priceless. about 5.84 4 good sized bottles.18 oz i think
