First day and it was okay...I made it through.  It wasn't as bad as I anticipated.  I spent most of the day in Human Resources filling out paperwork and signing forms.  Had bloodborne pathogens training and a safe driving class.  Pretty boring and nothing to do with what I will be doing.  CPR tomorrow.

My sister sent me flowers!!!  I cried, I was so happy to get them, made me feel so special.

Thank you all for your support.  I'm going to give it my all!!

I'll let Stephanie tell you what she is doing, but when you work in the health field you need to get those things.  most have to be done every year, CPR, blood born, Med tech classes.  Its a pain, but we gotta do them.  I even had a few of those when I work in a factory.  oh, and BLood Born is not gross at all, it just shows you the dangers of handleing blood, and how to take off your gloves, and stuff like that.

Guess what I'm doing never did come up.  Those classes Mamag spoke of...I'll be teaching them to people who will be working with individuals with developemental disabilities.  There is now a state mandated training called Direct Support Professional that I will be teaching along with the annual trainings.  The DSP is a 14 part class that was created by the state to certify people who support individuals with disabilities.  Great work and very rewarding...right Mamag??

Today I attended a CPR & First Aid class which I will be teaching in about 4 weeks once I change over from American Heart Association to the American Red Cross.
