Is it cold in here?
So, I've only lost a bit of weight but why am I so cold all the time?? Everyone else in the house is warm (running around in short sleeves) but I have a tshirt, sweatshirt, etc...and I'm still cold!!! I'm gonna go get my mittens soon! Will I be even colder after surgery or does it even have anything to do with my weight? Any ideas? (No, I'm not anemic anymore.)
Thanks!
From what I have heard being cold a lot is common after surgery, I am still cold almost all the time. I wear multiple socks, shirts, sometimes even pants. When I get really cold I throw on a robe over my clothes for good measure, one day I was so cold I was sitting at home with all that plus a scarf and gloves on lol. I also sit in almost all my classes wearing my jacket. I just try and wear layers so it doesn't happen that much, and I know this isn't helpful but you get used to it. I actually enjoy it as a nice change from being the one that was hot and sweating all the time to being the one that is cold. Hmmm...I just noticed you haven't had surgery yet but depending on how much weight you have lost pre-op it still could be the case or you just might be getting sick, I heard he flu is going around.
