i just went back over my journal for the last week or so and realized i am not making my goal of sodium 1200 mg, I am way over not all but most days.  I have looked at the things that are giving me trouble and it is almost always some prepared food or other.  i am using my-calorie-counter.com as the tracker so some things are best guesses, and I think side salds made by me are much much less sodium than what I am grabbing off their choices, so that helps... But, I am going to really star****ching that part of  my diet, thinking over what Corinne said last night about how it stalls weight loss, even if you are drinking plenty of water, which I have no trouble with. I am a down 2lbs up 3 down 1 up 1/2 person and maybe if I pay a little more attention to this I will start a continually down. Plus it won't hurt of post op eating. Just a comment/moment of aha I wanted to share. honk honk and hug

kate, that is so funny you would say that, cause I've been thinking all day about it too.  I havn't been tracking it at all, and really don't want to, I think counting cal and proteins is enough for me.  when I talked to tanya's mom and she was also counting carbs, I was like (to myself) man that is tough..I can't imagine having to count all that stuff, I spend alot of time with just what I do.  YOu girls are GOOD!!  so as for salt, I ate Ham several times last week, then made a soup with the bone.  So maybe that would explain why I havn't been able to shet these lbs I gainned. over the weekend.  I too need to be a little more careful.

Hi Cheryl. Yup completelky printable, it has saved me so much time and who needs more paper around, I will print everything off for when i go to see her on the 14th. The website holds all the info for me so I don't have to. It works for me.

I went and checked it out, looks cool, so can you write the food and add the inform. independently from what is on the site, like what is on your labels?  I am going to start tomorrow.

Yes, they have thousands of products on there, really easy to navigate around it, and there is a place toadd your own products/foods-like when we were in the islads I was constantly going....ahhhh no conch salad....so I would have to be crative and figure things out. If you have trouble let me know.

ok, one more question, well, maybe 2.... heeh.... does it save automatically?  and when it prints do you print all the pages at once or, once a week??? I dont want to loose everything,  especially not till after Corinne approves me.

It saves, and I print at the end of the day and tuck it in a folder in my WLS bag. Easy breezy!

Oh my gosh Kate, I have just spent the last 20 minutes trying to find out how much sodium I should be eating now to prepare myself for surgery...and here you are! its probably in my book, but of course that would be too easy. I have one WW Smart one meal that I would like to eat every day, but with the veggies I would add to it it amounts to 650 grams of sodium. I guess that is not too bad if I don't add salt to anything else and watch all the rest of what I eat, but I wonder if it is worth it. It is just so handy and does help me to keep on track. So as you try to watch your intake, I will join you and try to watch my own. Thanks for posting this...
