I am interested and will drive up to 3 hours. I live in Frankfort, halfway between Bangor & Belfast on Rt. 1A. I would like anywhere that is away from public staring eyes if I am going to put on a bathing suit. And where there is some shade since I am allergic to the sun and can only spend about 15 minutes in direct sunlight!

I live in Naples  would love to include my family, but if everyone decides on just adults I will be on my own.  I am willing to travel but I do like the State parks Kathi mentioned. Hubby works every other Saturday and every Sunday so I would need to plan for my kiddos if we decide adults only.

Kathy, I am sure there are many who want to include kids also, I was just suggesting if we didn't have kids we could have it here at my home.  Not a problem for me, but we live on lake with Right of way and none of our neighbors have kids and like to keep it that way,  and I certainly don't want to make waves.  HOpe you understand.  I am willing to go anywhere.

Good morning, I saw the post yesterday about a get together and think that would be a great idea.  I live in Fryeburg.  All the locations mentioned sound great to me.  My only preference is NO SNOW!!!!
Hugs,
Ronda

I'm with Auntieglasses - NO SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As far as I'm concerned I'll leave it up to all of you - not sure if I will be able to make it or not, I'll be back to work then and summertime is a very difficult time to get time off.

I'd need to know in advance due to the fact that I work weekends but can get the day off if I ask well ahead of time. My husband does not work weekends , so he can drive me virtually anywhere. I'll also be bringing Lori (loris_story) as she is also quite interested but does not drive.   I live in Lewiston as does Lori.    The only qualm I have about OOB is the parking availability. It gets crowded in that area during the summer!  Let's just say that my husband is not a big fan of crowds!!!     There was a time I didn't mind the snow...........but now it's getting ridiculous! My two boys are even complaining that because of all the "snow days" school will get out later !  Therefore, I can't wait for summer and this get-together! Anne

I live in Lewiston.  I have no problems traveling somewhere.  I will not be bringing the babies, but maybe my husband and my mom (who should hopefully be having her surgery in April---crossing fingers). I am with Terri on wearing a bathing suit in a big 'ol public place.  But other than that I am good and up for anything. I want to make sure we all mingle and chat, so hopefully someplace that would encourage that.  Now if someone wants to buy me a pool and fence it in we can have it at my place lol.   I will try to think of some other places/things to do to add to the list.  Anyone like bowling/mini golf/horseshoes.  It would be fun to be at a place where we could do like a lunch/barbecue type thing (or picnic) and play horseshoes, chat, play boccee ball etc.
