Summer Gathering

I believe the $150 is if they open up the kitchen part. If you just use the cover, tables, etc I think it's the $60 but I could be wrong too.

Where is this place.. look like i never get out in the real world lol.. i know portland freeport and bangor lol..

I don't mind where we go at all.  I think I may pass on the swimming part though....I'm all about mingling :)  And not getting in a bathing suit ha ha...Maybe we should set up a thread to ask who thinks they would like to come, and where they are located.  Then we can go from there. Or if you guys decide to do it at your house, then it doesn't materr.  I am fine with going anywhere.  If we didn't have to pay to rent something, or to get it...we could chip in and do something else...maybe get samples of protein products (maybe people even have some at home they didn't end up liking) and we could do a drawing (like a door prize for some).   Or we could all make some sort of WLS friendly recipe (of smaller things/pieces---like for example those protein balls someone posted about).  We could wrap them up individually so we can bring some home to try...maybe with the recipe attached.   Okay, I am now rambling about things...non of which have to do with location.  I tend to do that.  Back to the task at hand...choosing a spot first.  So count me in as game for anywhere.

Tanya, I love the idea of door prize, that is great.  and everyone bringing recipes to try.  well, you know if everyone isn't into going swimming you may have a point as far as spending money on a beach when no one will use it???  maybe a survey to ask everyone so we can see what everyone wants and who will go, including kids??  to give us an idea of what direction to go in.  I'm sure alot of peole have ideas.  I can't wait for summer.

Don't get me wrong...I have no problems going to the beach...I just personally probably won't go in.  There are quite a few creative people on here it seems...I bet some people will come up with some ideas of things to do.  I really am game for anything...even just sitting in a chair in someone's backyard chatting away.
