ok, so I read that chicken comes first on the what to eat list before red meat.  To tell you the truth, I can cook red meat better and it is more tender then chicken breast.  I find it so dry .  First, if red meat is tender why would it be better to have chicken.  and any suggestions for cooking chicken breast so it isn't dry

I always cook my chicken in a shallow baking sheet...and add enough water to cover the bottom of the pan.....It always somes out moist....or cooking a whole chicken in the oven in a cooking bag with veggies....or in a slow cooker...

I had like canned chicken before beef Now that I am at 8 weeks I can have whatever I want but I am still watching what goes in my mouth very closely. I made a meatloaf with ground turkey and ground beef half and half. It was quite good. I even put cottage cheese in it for extra protein.

I also think it goes by how hard it is to digest certain foods beef is harder to digest than chicken and would tend to fill you quicker making it harder to get in proper amount of protein. Just kind of a guess on that but I think that is why they have you wait on certain foods. I put my chicken in a steamer  it comes out very moist.

ok, cool... you know I will definately try these ways of cooking chicken.  I love to cook but I have to say Chicken is the one thing unless they are legs or wings, that I can't cook, I"ve tried cooking it with tomatoe sauce in crock pot, and every way, but it is like eating hay.  my husband hates chicken so I try to make it different ways so he will like it, but so far no luck.  The one way is if I dice it up and put in a soup or sauce oh, and put in food processor with a ton of mayo.  I guess I still need to do some practice work, I just end up throwing it away and its too expensive to do that. (OH, and my husband wont' touch chicken with bones in it), he is sooooo picky. I make fun of him, cause at thanksgiving his plate is white (mashed pot, turkey (no skin or bones) and boilled onions.  thanks for the info,

Red meat is harder to digest.  According to my dr's plan I have to wait until 6 months out to have red meat.  As far as chicken goes the legs/thighs tend to be more moist you may want to try that.  My DH also will not eat meat with bones (he says it makes him sick) so when I cook chicken for us I use skinless boneless breast for him and the leg quarter for me. that way his piece gets some of the juice from mine.
