was just checking into Point Sabago and Range Pond Group shelter prices.  From what I can see, it is the same price.  I have been to both, Of course I might be partial, but I think Poland Range pond is much more private, close to beach, private bathrooms and parking not far, plus there is a drop off area for kids, coolers ect.  Any advice or suggestions.  I believe we should reserve and pick a date soon,  Price is $60.00 for the day.  Maybe we can get a few of us to go out on a trip to check them out or any other place someone would suggest.  I volunteer anyone else have time??

The 60 cover just the shelter  for the day? And everyone pays to get into the park on their own is that how it works?

Kathy, If I remember correctly when you reserve the shelter which is $50, plus $10 for something else, I can't remember now, I think it includes passes to get in.  But that is something we need to check into.  plus depending on how many families will be there the $60/devided will be minimal.  when ever we have gone, we just told them/at the gate which party we belonged to and drove right in.

I just called my X boss and she said that we have to pay at the gate, and I think that is like $3.50 a person, yikes??  might want to check out some camp grounds too??

I would happily have everyone here, BUT, the problem is my neighbors, there are no kids in the neighborhood and we have a right of way to the lake and if we were all adults it would be fine, but I know everyone would like it being a family get together.  I don't want to make any waves with my neighbors.  Even when my dgt brings her step dgt we get the eye... she is a screamer tho???

Is this a different one than the one Kathi was gonna get together?  Either way I plan on getting someone to watch the babies.  I want to enjoy myself and mingle...I don't wanna be stuck taking care of the little ones and missing everything.  I might even leave my hubby home too!

yes, I guess so, I just thought we should at least rent the place before its too late.  I'm kinda excited to meet everyone and looking foward to it.  haha, like the part about leaving the DH behind.  My DH,is very shy and follows me around like a sad puppy when there is people he dont' know.  He drives me nuts, especially when there is a circle of girls talking about girl things, and there he is in the middle of the circle.

My husband is opposite!  We can go someplace (like a wedding or whatever) and we can go our separate ways for most of the event.  He will talk to anyone and everyone about everything.  Not shy at all.  Sometimes I have to reel him in ha ha.
