I have no idea what to buy for protein drinks.  I don't want to waste my money on something I won't like.  Any suggestions on good brands/flavors??

I like the stacker 2 protein water. It has 20 grams of protein  per 20 ounce bottle It is $1.99 at rite aid or you can order it online. Mostly I just did the protein powder from wal mart with skim milk.

I happen to love the profect bullets.  But a lot of people think they are way too sweet. But I think they are a quick and easy way to get them in.   I would recommend ordering a protien sample pack through bariatriceating.com.   They do have a sample of the New Whey liquid protein in there.  A lot of companies will send you samples.

BE (link on this site) has a sample pack that has 12 different protiens in it.  That is a good way to get different ones to try.  I have bought two of them but I am saving most of them for after my surgery because taste change after surgery.  The ones that I have doubles of I am using to add variaty to my 2 week pre-op liquid diet.

I got the protein pack from BE also and it was a good way to try things.  I used most of it up before surgery though.  I ended up getting whey gourmet choc peanut butter and whey gourmet mint choc chip ice cream flavored which I love.   I mostly use the any whey from GNC though.  It is unflavored (although I find it works best in sweeter things since I swear I taste a bit of vanilla.  I used a scoop in sf pudding (this saved me the first 2 weeks after surgery) and I also add it to my diet cocoa at night, or my tea (1/2 scoop).   My tastes didn't really change after surgery (as far as I can tell).  I got a case of the new whey 42 gram bullets and didn't like them at all.  I ended up returning 8 of them, left 3 for my mom to try and I only had one. I have a bunch of micellar milk (everyone on the be forum raves about them).  I use them to make pudding (in place of milk), or I add the choc to my cocoa...but I have a feeling I won't use all I have, but my mom will.
