Ok, so I have a new one, so why does it go back to my old one?? 

I had the same problem.  Also I had a similar problem when I changed my profile background.  However once I cleaned out my cookies I was able to see what others saw. Hope this helps.........

hey at least you got one, I can't upload one, it keeps telling me its too large, and I have no clue how to make it smaller.  do you know how???

There is a way to compress photos and videos to make them smaller but I couldn't tell you how off the top of my head. If you google it, I bet there is a site that will walk you through it. Then come back and tell us how you did it! LOL A nice little project for you on this snowy day!

Here you go...took me two minutes to find...

Here is how you can resize your images. Do a google search on "windows xp powertoy image resizer" -- open the first choice, which will be the Microsoft site, find "Image Resizer" on the right side of the screen, and download and install it. Now when you are in Windows Explore (or whatever other file manager you use), and you right click on a photo filename, you will be offered a menu whi*****ludes the choice "Resize Picture". When you choose that, you will be offered several size choices. The "Small" size is 640x480 pixels, which is a good size for posting. Choose that, and a new photo will be created on your hard disk with the name of your original photo with the word "(Small)" appended to it. That is all there is to it.

ok, so none of that worked, I downloaded that thing and tried like 7 times, everytime a little different, all I managed to do was loose 3 pictures, so i go on line to find a cute picture, save it, upload it, and guess what, my old one comes back,  I have no idea.... whatever??? last time I try changing my avitar......after all that I need a nap..

Must have worked cause your pic from PR is your avatar...
