the calm before the storm......

Man, it was a gorgeous afternoon here in Belfast - so you know it's going to be a heck of a storm. I was crazy and went grocery shopping this afternoon - what a zoo!!!  I'mattempting to go with the flow and I bought some stew beef to make smoothered beef with tomorrow in my crockpot. What are your plans for the storm?

i think i am going to just relax and praying nothing else happens to my mother inlaw had slight heat attack tonight,,she is 85 if doesnt storm going to hospital.. my sister in law went hopsital wednesday they put a hole in her colon, wow what else can go wrong..but they are both in the hospital for the weekend only problem is one in dover and one in skowhegan,,

sorry to hear about your bad news yesterday, hope your weekends takes a turn for the better, good luck... as for what i'm doing today, I have to go into town and pick up my little man, he spent the night at his parents, then i'm coming home to watch car races and snow fall.  been a bad girl on my diet for 2 days, so gotta up it today...

As my surgeon requires a two week liquid diet pre-op I am going to make soups this weekend and then freeze some of the broth.  I am expecting that I will be starting my liquids March 31st so it is time to stock up for the pre-op liquids.
