8 Months Post Op Today!

Well, I am 8 months out today.  I wish I had a better weightloss to report, but it is basically the same as my 7 month. But I can't complain, I am down 134.5 lbs and 109 lbs since surgery in June.  I can't even tell you how good I feel!  My energy level is 150 % better!  I can't wait for the snow to go away, so I can go out walking and riding the bike.  It is unreal to me that I have lost a whole person!  I couldn't do it all without my friends here on the Maine Forum.  Thank You all!

That is so great!  Can you even believe how much you have lost...it must be so surreal.  Did the time fly by?  It seems like just yesterday I was reading and you were a few months out. Glad to hear the energy goes up...I can't wait to get more.  These babies take a lot out of you.  Spring is just around the corner-- Did you ever ride a bike before the surgery?  I never did, my butt was too big for those teeny seats lol.

Thanks, Tanya!  The 8 months just flew by!!  I didn't ride a bike, except when I was a kid.  I never had the energy to do anything like that in my adult life.

Wow....that is totally awesome - I personally think that is an amazing weight loss in 8 months - I only hope I can follow in your footsteps.  You were one of the first people that had surgery after I started lurking in the forums last June so I have been following your progress - you rock girl!!!  One of the things that stood out to me is that you live in Gorham - my late uncle who was a history prof at the Uof M lived in Gorham.
