chopped up the vitamin

OMG, I just chopped up the "Centrum Vitamine" so I wouldn't have to chew the gross thing, and OMG< its stuck, now I have heart burn and will probably throw up a little if I cough too much.  TMI, hehe

Do you have the orange flavored ones? I think they are better then the kids vits but just my opinion.

yes, the orange ones, if they are better then the kids ones, boy i'm in trouble, I have been gagging for 3 days, takeing those things.  I am not a candy eater, as a matter of fact, I gag if I eat something too sweet.  so these are killing me. I taste it for hours after I chew it.

Ugh. Gross. It's smart that you're trying these things out now! Will you ever be able to take pills again? Sheli was telling me that she still needs to take liquid antibiotics and stuff. Is that forever?

oh, GOd I hope I can take pills, I have some vitamins I take that I live for and are huge, they come in a caps. like vit. E and I can't cut, I finnally found it and it works, so well, I can't imagine going without now.  FYI:  they are Primrose Oil, AMazing stuff

Wonder if you could crush them and put them in a protein drink?? That may make it better for you. Have you tried liquid vits yet?

I still have to cut up all meds and will forever (according to my doctor) unless I get all my fill out someday (which AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!)   I tried to swallow an antibiotic 3 months ago, when my band was still a little too loose, I could feel the pill in my pouch over 4 hours after taking it.  By the next day I had a sore throat which I truly believe is because of the pill taking so long to melt in my esophagus.   I have to special order my antibiotics with the pharmacy or crush them... NEVER CRUSH CIPRO  It is the worst taste I have ever experienced. A lot of bandsters do the gummy bear kids vitamins or the viactiv multi vitamin soft chews...the viactive is a little like candy and not half bad. Try different vitamins, and ask your doctor about how long before you can take pills again...mine says never but other bandsters take them with no problems...I tried to and it didn't work...now I just listen to my doctor...
