5 months out!

Where did the time go? Yesterday was my 5 month surgiversary and I can't believe that that much time has already passed! I didn't post yesterday because we were in the ER with the baby - he has pneumonia - and I was worked up about that and the latest stall I was on. Didn't eat much yesterday being at the hospital and all, and it seems to have FINALLY brole my week and a half long stall. I was bouncing around between 185 and 187. Today I finally showed a loss again and weighed in at 184.0 . That makes my total since surgery 69 pounds in 5 months! I always feel like a slow loser - I'm losing on average about 10 pounds a month - but 69 pounds in 5 months really is something, isn't it? I feel AWESOME and with a total loss of 88 since my initial consult with Dr. Loggins feel like a new woman! From a 26 plus size to a 16 or 18 misses I feel like I"m in a whole new body! I'd like to get down to 150 if I can! Holy cow, that's only 34 pounds away!!!

SUmmer, You have done so well, I look at your picture and I am sure there are people who don't recognize you.  YOu are so beautiful.  10 lbs. average a month?? that is great, with the band I'll be happy to loose 3 a month.  but 3 loss is better then 3 gain, it will add up in the long run.  Congratulations on your loss and 5 month Svsary.  HOpe the baby gets better, I know 3 people with Pnemonia (sp).  Its been such a hell of a winter and we all have cabin fever, we need to open up those windows and get some fresh air.

Is J. ok? (babynames and internet...being careful!)  It is so scary to have a sick baby...you must have been so worried!  No wonder you didn't eat.     You know I think you have done an amazing job.  I have said so from the beginning and I will say it again- You look fabulous.  88 lbs is about what Alex weighed in 7th grade...try to carry around a skinny 7th grader for a day!!!   You are doing so well.  Come visit sometime soon so I can tell you how great WE ARE!!!!  SHELI

oh summer i hope the baby is feeling better soon. is he home with you or still in the hospital? i really hope he's home in his own environment.

as far as the weight loss goes that is amazing. i hope i have similar results. i'm down 20 since october 12th. my friend has given me some size 18 misses jeans and i can't wait to fit into them. i'm in a 20w now. i wouldn't dare put them on either as sore as my belly is.

congrats on a job well done.

how's the new cat? what did you name her?
