yeast infrection

Hi everyone got a question. I have changed from drinking crystal light to drinking splenda in my water. It has been a week. oh my saturday afternoon oh my god i had a bad case of yeast infection. Has anyone else heard of anyone getting yeast inftection from splenda. This is the only thing i have done different..what am i going to do now just plain water makes me sick and the crystal light makes me hungry.. any ideas.. I looked on web site for yeast infection and they say sugar and sugar alchol can cause yeast infection..  Barb

no advice for ya but wanted to say that is a bummer. i've been drinking a lot of crystal light and the white grape seems to make me more thirsty. i never thought of water with a splash of splenda. i wonder if i should wait as my body has been thru so much in the last week. try some yogurt. i hear it helps. it replenishes the good bacteria we have down there. cool bath too. my mother always said drink plenty of cranberry juice too. you can get that in a light version.

thanks for the info..i went to buy yogart but i can not find the lactose free i can not do regular yogart or i will  have problems with the other hole.lolololol.. yes i was only putting in one little packet of splenda to 20 oz bottle of water, and it was good. im not drinking anymore crystal light..i going to have to suffer with just plain water and hope i dont puke..

They have packets of true lemon and true lime in the backing aisle.  It is concentrated fruit crystals (no sugar).  You could try that. What about squeezing a slice of an orange in there?

I just got free samples of the True Lemon/Lime and Orange. I have yet to try them, but they sound like a good change.

correct me if I"m wrong, but doesn't crystal lite have splenda in it???

I think the pre-mixed bottles of CL have splenda, not sure about the powder mixes.  I don't personally drink CL as it does make me more thirsty.

the powder mixes have the aspartame not splenda.. the premix bottle do have the splenda...

OHh, I see, isn't that weired?? that they would have 2 separate things???

i thought it was werid also..but i finished my first bottle of just plain water and no problem i drank it really slow..maybe it going to work this time im 7 months out now maybe my pouch wont be so mean.
