The regular Centrum chewables are not that bad. I went cold turkey with the tylenol til I got clearance to swallow pills again. Just FYI if you ever need it there is suppository tylenol I learned that on the RNY board.

Ah yes....that was pretty much my response too.....I just threw a whole bottle minus the one I tried in the garbage last week. I'll still to Flintstone chewables until I get clearance in a couple of weeks to do the regular vitamin. Does your surgeon not allow you to swallow pills? I've been swallowing pills since the day I had surgery.

I think it's weird how that works as far as pills are concerned. I was supposed to be on chewable vitamins for a few weeks, don't remember exactly how long. I did stick with them the whole time but the day of my surgery or the day after they were giving me my allergy pills to take in the hospital. I also had the option of a pain med in pill form. I wonder why some pills are okay and others aren't?

Must be how they are absorbed into your system ya think? It is nice to be able to take them regular though I must say especially Tylenol. Yuck that is just nasty crushed.
