I saw Dr.Clough yesterday

I saw Dr.clough yesterday, I"M APPROVED.....yipppeeee yahooooo!   just waiting on my surgery date. I'm so excited. 

Congradulations on being approved..you will be on the losers bench soon. I had Dr. Clough do my surgery 7months ago yesterday, best thing I have ever done for myself. Keep us posted Barb

Thanks Guys! I do have a question though,   I was under the impression that with RNY that the stomach is cut and seperated from the pouch, not just stapled.   With Dr. Clough however, The stomache is completely stapled shut . but not seperated. I asked the Dr. about this and he said that he has been doing this for many years and that they have found that it is not necessary to completely severe the pouch from the stomache..........has anybody elsebeen told this?    I know many of you have used Dr. Clough did he do yours the same way?  I think I'm getting nervous......lol Becky
