Hey everyone,

I'm home and all is well. The surgery went well. They found some scar tissue on my pancreas which was a surprise. Otherwise it went perfect. No leaks and I am tollerating water very well. Will try a protein shake in the morning.

Thanks for all the well wishes and cards. They certainly brightened my day. I also loved my visitors. I'm quite comfortable and am looking forward to a good nights sleep. Slept like crap at the hospital.

I'll update more tomorrow. Am pooped and going to bed.

Lisa, that is awesome!  Be sure when you are up to it to change your "Hoping to have surgery" to "Post Op"   And also put your Surgery date!  I believe it is on the My Account tab at the very top of the website page.

LIsa, Congratulations  I'm so happy all went well for you.  Now the weight drops and you go shopping for new clothes (smaller and smaller) how exciting is that?  I always sleep like crap and love hospitals, but like to be near the nurses station so I can see all the activities.  Last year when I had my Hystorectomy they put me on the kids floor, now that! was annoying, freakin screaming kids all night. and one guy who had the flu and was the loudest puker I've ever heard.  ok, forget it. I changed my mind, I dont' like hospitals, I forgot???  GOod luck Lisa, keep us posted..  Cheryl
