For those of you who enjoy YouTube videos
Good morning dearies,
As some of you know, I am a YouTube junkie and am keeping a video diary there of my weight loss journey. I also subscribe to a number of other Vloggers who are doing the same. Some are pre-op as I am and just beginning, but many have had the surgery and are 3 months, 6 months, a year, or two years out and occasionally have some good words of wisdom to share (and occasionally not!) Last night I watched a "WLS Rant" by a young woman who is two years out and has lost a substantial amount of her weight. She shares some wonderful (I think) advice about how the surgery is a tool and how you have to work at changing your head in order to be successful. She talks about what she eats and what she doesn't eat and although she is clear that her way is not the only way, she does express her dismay at those who, just a few weeks out of surgery, are already trying to eat some of the stuff that got them there in the first place. I thought she made such good sense that I have favorited that video to watch again and again when I have my surgery. If you get a chance, I highly recommend this 10 minute video. Let me know what you think, especially if you disagree. Since I am pre-op, I may be missing something, but she makes good sense to me and I found it helpful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_D5ZqXCmtyE
