I went to visit Lisa today.  She is doing great just very thirsty and very sore.  But everything went well.  30 minutes added to her surgery due to scar tissue but she is not sure from what.  She should be going home tomorrow.  She is not going to stay at Harbor House.  Dr Loggins made her promise to come back to CMMC with even the slightest twinge as she lives over 1 hour away.

I went and saw her too.  She got some ear plugs and was excited about that.  Apparently her bunk mate was this 70 year old lady who LOVED watching wrestling LOUD until 11pm. I guess I lucked out with my roomie.  She was still thirsty when I was there.  I am sure her drink tests and sips will go well tomorrow.  She said she would probably be back on the board to check in on Thursday. It's so great how we get to meet each other.  I can't wait for the gathering this summer. My mom was there too, my designated driver even though I am not on any pain meds ha ha.  Lisa told her she needed a username and to get on the board...hopefully she will :) So she's good!

that is great that Lisa is doing so well, I am nervous about the dry mouth and not being able to brush my teeth, i'm going to not talk for 2 days.  I'm glad i'm only going to be in hosp for 1 day (Lap Band) I swear I'll sneak in a quick brush when I go pee. opppps! did I say that?  HOpe your mom gets on line Tanya, she is closer to my age and around my time line.  how did she like it on here while you were in Hosp. did she say??  Thank you guys for updateing us on Lisa.

I'm glad you got to see her and that she is doing well!  Thirst is one thing I bet i will have..i'm always thirsty!  Do they let you have ice chips at least on the first day?

I am not sure what other Doctors do but Dr Loggins does not let you have anything at all not even brushing your teeth until after the leak test. That icky water tasted so good when I actually was able to drink.

I'm so glad you got to visit with Lisa I'm sure she was thirsty I can't imagine not drinking.  I always have water at my desk.  I'm glad she going home but I hope she can get to hospital if she needs to. Thank you for the update. Judy
