Glad it's almost over
Well the day is almost over. It's been a tough day. Once I took the first dose of fleet stuff it made me very nausous. About an hour later all hell broke loose. Just when it calmed down a bit I had to take the second dose. That went down much harder than the first dose. It's now almost 6 pm and things are quieting down again. I was able to nap after 2 pm for about an hour. I've been very weak and cold. I've stayed in my bed most of the day under my toasty electric blanket. I've drank a ton and have had 3 jello cups today. I've got to jump in the shower soon and will have to again in the morning. I'm planning on leaving around 8 am in case we run into crappy weather. I've packed a backpack with my things and am ready to go. I was freaking a bit earlier but now I'm at total peace with this decision. Heck if I can handle crapping my brains out I can handle this no problem. I know there will be tough times and plateaus but I'm more than ready now!
I'll be in touch soon. I've decided not to take my computer with me. I'd hate for someone to take it. I waited in line at 3 am at Best Buy the day after Thanksgiving for this damn thing. Kathy B. will update you all after I'm out.

Lisa,
I am sorry you have to go through that horrible bowel prep. Thankfully, Dr Cobean doesn't require it. But he makes you do a 2 week pre op liquid diet which probably is just as bad. LOL I will be thinking good thoughts for you tomorrow and I know that you are in very capable hands with Dr Loggins! Looking forward to seeing you shrink!!

Yahoo! Can you believe it! It's tomorrow. As in tomorrow! I know exactly how you are feeling right now. One note, prepare to wait awhile when you ring the bell. They are sloooooooow. Luckily it wasn't for anything important.
I am planning to stop by Tuesday if that is ok. I have to go out and get bloodwork done for my Wednesday mtg with Dr. Loggins. You are in excellent hands!
Oh also as an FYI. I totally thought Richard who weighed us etc was just like a nurse guy that basically just...well...weighed us. Nope. He is an important dude ha ha. When he showed up in the recovery room where I was waiting for the anesthesia and to go to surgery in scrubs I was surprised. He totally is in the operating room with you. And he goes to check up on you in the room, and he is there with you when you go down to do your drink test. It was nice---he is so nice. He made me feel at ease.
Well, sleep well....drink a lot before you go to bed ha ha
