Hi guys! Here's a picture of my valentine's day gift. She's patiently waiting for me at the shelter until Thursday (they're closed tomorrow and I needed to take Lucky to the vet today to get a distemper shot we somehow missed today). She's 6 months old and SO sweet! She has a purr like a motor boat! The shelter named her Sake (ironically my first pet - when I came home from the hospital! - was also named Saki. She was a beautiful Siamese). That name just doesn't seem to really suit  her ... but I can't think of what else would be good! Here's her picture:
What does she look like to you?????

I'd say the following possibilities suit her: Chloe, Layla, Pippin, or Sophie. Any of those strike your fancy?   She does look like a real sweetie! Have a great week, Lori

Summer, What a cutie!!! She looks like a grey calaco cat. I have a female grey calaco her name is Gixxer. We named her after my husbands motorcycle he had when we got her, he has since traded it in for a different bike. I like all the names people have shared so far. We just bought a Golden Retriever puppy and we named her Chloe (after the blonde Bratz doll), she will be 8 weeks old on March 1st, we will get to pick her up that day. My family is so excited. I bet your son will be too when you get to bring her home Thursday. What other pets do you have? What are their names? I'm asking because some people name their pets alike like (salt & pepper etc). You could also name it after a place you enjoy or and object or product.   ~dori~
