A weird moment today

So I went into a convenience store today to pick up some tomato soup and there was a display with potato chips right next to the candy bars - I looked at and didn't have the slightest desire to have any. I know this feeling won't last - but isn't it amazing what this surgery can do to your head? Before surgery my favorite binge food was barbeque chips and the thick peanut butter cups.  Anyone else experience this?

I experience the same thing all the time...it's still so strange.  I've had chocolate cravings and will take a small bite of it then immediately spit it out because it makes me gag.  So nice to walk by the candy isle in Wal-Mart and not even desire to walk down it.  I have discovered diet swiss miss hot cocoa which is only 25 calories and I add 1/2 scoop of protein to it.  I was craving crunchy food so I purchased a bag of cheddar chex mix ~ took me a month to pick my way to 1/2 bag then threw it away.  I ordered the sample pack from Kay's Natural foods so now when I get the crunchy munchies I have a protein rich food to use. So funny how our heads react to our new stomach.
